I’ve been using canvases as my paint palette to mix paint, test pencil and paint pen marks and see how two colors play together.  Slowing creating this paint palette series over the last two years, using them without a plan until a composition and color story speak to me.  It started as a way to not put paint in the garbage, but an unexpected way of making some of my favorite paintings.
